House in Laguna Beach

So I think it's about time I use my camera again, the iphone photos are getting old.

I've just moved into a new house in Laguna Beach and I couldn't be happier!! This place is so beautiful!! The beach is only 3 min walk away and surfing is just up the street and the perfect place to go when you suck like I do. Only thing is work is 45 mins away. It's totally worth the drive.

Lets take a tour.

San Clemente weekend

Ok so new favorite town. San Clemente is located south of Orange County and the thing I liked most is that it still holds its small surf town vibe. No cities nearby. Jordie and I got to stay in a beautiful apartment right on the beach so the sunsets were amazing and just looking out the window in the morning was so motivating to go for a run or go surfing. I finally bought my first surfboard too so I was extra stoked to be here.

California Girl

Ok so the big move already happened. I now live in Huntington Beach California and I'm working at Quiksilver HQ as Roxy Snow Marketing Intern. Corporate world is different. My camera is still in Maine but hopefully it will be here soon for some real photos. Till then my iPhone will have to suffice. I've been exploring a bunch along the coast from LA to San Diego and all that's in-between. My favorite place so far is Laguna Beach with cliffs along the beach and a cute downtown area. Too bad it's so far from work. More pictures soon!

The Maine Event

Any opportunity to travel somewhere new I will always take it, given I have the funds. This trip was so great! Maine reminds me soo much Canada, everywhere from east coast to west coast and everything in between. I took a few pictures but unfortunately left my camera in the rental unit. But to sum it up: rivers, trees, old buildings, sandwich shops, lobster, good people, cheeseburger and beer!
On top of all this I got to watch a snowboard made from scratch, check out Team Eight Snowboards for fully custom boards.

America!

I'm so excited to be here. I drove through Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota and Wyoming before I got to Salt Lake City. And after a week there I finished my drive through Las Vegas to San Diego, California. My current location is Carlsbad, right on the beach and only about 1.5 hours from my office in a couple weeks. Already having the best time! I've been blowing it with the camera, but here are a few pics from the drive and at the beach today.

Last day in Canada

I'm currently on my drive to LA but I wanted to post these photos of my camping trip with friends. We stayed up at Sibbald Point National Park on Lake Simcoe. The lake was beautiful and I had a lot of fun by the campfire, cookin wieners.
